I have seen some butterflies with a wing done in flowers, but they all seemed to be quite large flowers. A butterfly is dainty and graceful, so I set out to create my design. One wing is done with vibrant colors of orange, black, white and the use of bright color nail foils. The awakening of the other wing is formed with fine delicate flowers. Each flower would hold a small crystal in its center catching the light with a subtle, elegant glow. I used the Bokeh style for the background. Exhibited during "Gifts for the Goddess", this work was showcased at Confluence Studio Art Gallery in Grand Junction, Colorado.
